Responsibility, a scary word at times, but we must focus on what it means for us. Responsibility means that we have a duty to do something or a duty to manage someone or something. Duty is defined as a task or action that you must perform. So, if we remember that we are performing a task or taking an action when we are responsible, it is not as scary.
On this journey, we will have many responsibilities, some that come to mind is how we manage our time, our gifts talents, and our treasure. One other one, is how we manage our relationships. We must rely on the Holy Spirit to help us.
Remembering 2 Timothy 1:14 (NASB) is key to focusing on doing the right tasks and actions to complete our responsibilities.
“Protect, through the Holy Spirit who dwells in us, the treasure which has been entrusted to you.”
Remember, you are asked to take care of everything that God has given you as you go on this journey. Be an excellent steward and manage them well.
