Courage, just like responsibility, it can be a scary word. Courage is the ability to do something that frightens one. It also means strength in the face of pain or grief. The one I like most is… the mental or moral strength to venture, persevere, and withstand danger, fear, or difficulty. As Christians, we need spiritual strength to venture, persevere, and withstand danger, fear, or difficulty.
So, with that in mind, we must consider Joshua 1:9 (ERV)
Remember, I commanded you to be strong and brave. Don’t be afraid, because the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
So, as we go on this journey, we must have the spiritual strength to keep going, do new things, meet different people, step out on faith, and do something different. God is calling us to be courageous on this journey… So... as Miss Frizzle from the Magic School Bus would say… TAKE CHANCES, MAKE MISTAKES, AND GET MESSY!
